The focus of our effort is to create jobs that will benefit a community, a region or even a nation. Accordingly the project we are promoting are labor intensive to ensure as many people as possible can benefit from your donations.
For example, we are setting up Biodiesel farms in Sierra Leone. We could have selected the model of one very large farm using highly advanced mechanical farming tools. Instead, we are developping 8,000 farms of 150 hectares each. Each farm will be given to a family who is provided with the infrastructure, the equipment and the training needed to produce Jatropha seeds . Using this approach we are not creating 200 jobs but over 40,000 in full cooperation withthe Sierra Leone government.
